Here goes my first blog.

 

Family fishing has been very successful this summer,  Our 'catch & release' fishing ensures there's always been lots of fish around and they're bitting.  We've been catching a wide assortment of various species including; Black Rock Fish (aka Black Seabass), Copper Rock fish, Tommy Cod (aka Kelp Greenling), and China Rock fish.  

 

Today (July 30) while fishing with a father and his son near Tonquin Island near the harbour entrance, the son reeled in about 12 rock fish including a couple of Lingcod.  Today was his first time fishing, I'm quite sure it's not his last!
